Mr. Paul J. Marino, a 1961 graduate of Abington High School, local realtor, and a Life Member of the Abington Fire Company, passed away peacefully at Abington Memorial Hospital on January 13. He was 83.
Mr. Marino attended Penn State University to study Mechanical Engineering but was drafted into the United States Army during the Vietnam War in 1964. He was stationed in Fort Sill, OK and Fort Gordon, GA until he was honorably discharged, his obituary said.
He graduated from Manor Junior College in 1979 and went on to work with his father-in-law at Coppola Arcara Real Estate in Glenside, Weichert, Fox & Lazo, and RE/MAX for over 40 years.
Mr. Marino joined the Abington Volunteer Fire Company at age 19 and served for 63 years, his obituary said.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Wednesday morning, January 21, 2026, from 9:30 to 11:00 am., followed by his Funeral Mass at 11:00 am., at the Queen of Peace Church, 820 North Hills Ave., Ardsley, PA 19038. Military Honors and Interment at Hillside cemetery.
