Mr. David H. Fitzpatrick, a Hatboro resident and longtime fire police officer, passed away on Monday, February 9 at Abington Jefferson Memorial Hospital.
After graduating from William Tennent High School, Mr. Fitzpatrick began volunteering with various firehouses in the area, his obituary said. He served as first assistant fire police commissioner for Montgomery County, fire police officer for the Willow Grove Volunteer Fire Company, and as a fire police captain for the Enterprise Fire Company of Hatboro.
Mr. Fitzpatrick worked at Sterling Limo and the now-closed Gamburg’s Furniture in Hatboro. He was also a Mummer in the Fancy Brigade (Golden Crown), his obituary said.
Mr. Fitzpatrick chose to be cremated and not have a service, his obituary said.
