A 48-year-old woman was fatally shot while she was driving in the 200 block of Huntingdon Pike in Rockledge Borough (Abington Township) around 10:00pm on Saturday, 6ABC reported.

According to investigators, she was allegedly shot by the passenger, who was identified as her husband. He got out of the vehicle and ran before police arrested him a block away behind a 7-Eleven.

The identity of the suspect has not yet been released and a motive for the shooting is still unclear, 6ABC said.
