Mr. Albert “Butch” Hatton, Jr., a longtime Glenside resident and former owner of Al & Bob Tree Services in Glenside, passed away on March 2. He was 82.

Mr. Hatton was a Vietnam veteran and “lived a life rooted in service, love, and the great outdoors,” his obituary said.

“Owner of Al & Bob Tree Services for over 40 years, he was known not only for his hard work and professionalism but for the honesty and heart he brought to every job,” his obituary said.

Relatives and friends are invited to share in Mr. Hatton’s Life Celebration Friday, March 6 starting 9:00 AM until the time of his service at 11:00 AM at Freed-Givnish of Glenside, 124 N Easton Rd, Glenside Pa., 19038. Interment will follow at George Washington Memorial Park., Plymouth Meeting Pa. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mr. Hatton’s memory to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund would be appreciated by his family.
