Moody Jones Gallery, located at 107b South Easton Road in Glenside, will host an “Artist Talks” event with Dane Tilghman on Thursday, August 24 from 5:30pm to 8:00pm.

About the event:

The talks often hosted by Moody Jones Gallery allow artists and their audiences to connect on a more personal level. They are an opportunity to ask those burning questions and ultimately have great dialogue. 

Dane Tilghman is a premier painter who isn’t afraid to steer away from conformity, incorporating many different forms/styles/mediums into his work. He’s well accepted and appreciated within the art community and has even had work collected by Nelson Mandela. 

MJG’s most recent “Collectors Thursday” touched on a lot of great topics surrounding the profession and how the art world works from a collector standpoint; however, it also shed light on the importance of communication between artists and collectors. Thursday’s talk with Tilghman will further expand upon this and likely produce an informative/inspiring session.
