Montgomery County announced that the Department of Public Safety’s Special Operations teams will be hiring additional part-time paid personnel in early 2025.

Any individuals interested in joining the Hazardous Materials Response Team or Urban Search & Rescue Team are encouraged to check back periodically here over the next few weeks for job descriptions and the online application.

On February 7, 2024, the Montgomery County Board of Commissioners approved a property tax rebate program for members of fire companies and non-profit emergency medical service providers.
