Meet Melinda Levandoski: Jenkintown resident, owner of Attic Art Consignment, a new business that sells antique artwork

Melinda Levandoski, a Jenkintown resident and professional organizer, launched Attic Art Consignment in 2025.

Attic Art Consignment sells art found in attics, basements, studios, and deep storage. Levandoski told Glenside Local that the business was a response to her experiences with downsizing and decluttering.

“People sometimes have wonderful art that they don’t want any longer but don’t want to throw away. When I started organizing six years ago, I thought that there has to be a way to bring all of that art into the world,” she said.

The traveling art show can currently be found at the new Hair by Erica Loney in Glenside and King’s Corner in Jenkintown, as well as various popups throughout the year. Levandoski said each business she partners with receives a cut of Attic Art’s sales.

“The whole idea is bringing life to your wall while offering a revenue stream,” she said. “I have some hanging art and bins to dig through at Capricorn. My father-in-law was an artistic photographer for years and has some beautiful pieces from fine art shows he had done, so I may try selling for him one day.”

Attic Art Consignment will be appearing at Yellow Rose Tattoo in Glenside from 3:00pm to dark on Friday, October 9. On October 18, Levandoski will appear at Capricorn Books in Jenkintown from noon to 4:00pm, a reschedule from the cancelled Jenkintown Arts Fest.

“People are now finding me online and asking me to help them find homes for their pieces. I’m trying to reach everyday people and serve as a community resource,” she said, noting that her husband is a music teacher at Abington Senior High School. “Our family is well connected in the community and we’re creative. We’re trying to bring art and music for the sake of art and music.”
