Marine veteran bikes across the country to raise money and to honor Glenside friend

Marine Corps veteran, Nick Novotny, is riding 4,000 miles through 10 states to raise money for the Wounded Warrior Project and to honor his friend, Cpl. James Currie who died last year at the age of 22. Novotny intends on finishing his ride on Labor day in Glenside, Currie’s home town.

The James Currie Memorial Ride is Novotny’s GoFundMe page and his goal is to raise 25,000 for the Wounded Warrior Project, a non-profit that aids veterans and active duty service members.
