Ryan O. Boothe, 37, of Philadelphia has been sentenced to 6 to 12 years in prison for two armed robberies of Cheltenham Township businesses on November 23 and November 25, 2021.
Boothe used a gun to rob the 7-Eleven in the 200 block of South Easton Road. Two days later, he robbed the Rite Aid store in the 1400 block of West Cheltenham Avenue.
According to The Reporter, the hard hat he wore and discarded during one of the two robberies led to his arrest after his DNA was found on the liner of the protective head gear.
Boothe plead guilty to felony charges of robbery, person not to possess a firearm and aggravated assault.
