Lynnewood Hall’s original pathways, driveways & garden layouts now visible for the first time in 80 years due to drought

Lynnewood Hall recently posted that the property’s original pathways, driveways and garden layouts are now visible for the first time 80 years due to the drought the area has been experiencing.

From their Facebook post:

Due to heat and lack of significant rain for weeks on end, the estate has sufficiently dried enough to reveal the original pathways, driveways, and garden layouts that have been laying dormant, some of which for more than eighty years.

We’ve spent a lot of time trimming down these sections to make them more pronounced and ensure we know exact dimensions before the rain comes again. Full restoration of the French Gardens here at Lynnewood Hall is one of our primary goals in the next several years.

Though the heat has been brutal some days, we are thankful to have this window of opportunity presented to see something truly remarkable.
