Lower Moreland Township received a preliminary design from PennDOT for a roundabout at the intersection of Philmont Avenue, Tomlinson Road, and Pine Road in Huntingdon Valley.

According to the township’s website, the project comes on behalf of Pennsylvania’s DCED Multimodal Transportation Improvement Fund and the PennDOT Transportation Improvement Program Fund.

According to township manager Christopher Hoffman, a timeline for the project has not been released.

“That is totally under PennDOT’s control at this point. It’s part of their transportation improvement plan, so they’ll control the timing of the project,” Hoffman told Glenside Local.
