The Lower Moreland Police Department recently announced the arrest of Melan Ashton, one of three male suspects involved in multiple motor vehicle thefts.

From the Department’s release:

On November 13, 2022, LMPD responded to multiple theft from motor vehicles, as well as a stolen 2018 White Audi Q5 bearing Pennsylvania registration JZG-1086, in the area of Huntingdon Pike, Welsh Road, and Philmont Avenue.

Video surveillance was obtained which identified three male suspects and a suspect vehicle. The males were operating a white Jeep Cherokee with black rims. The Jeep appears to be a newer model (2021/2022). All three males appear to be approximately 6’ tall and slim.

The suspects are show in the above photo and the photos below. The Department has not said which of the three is Ashton.
