Lower Moreland police arrest 19-year-old for assault, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct

The Lower Moreland Police Department announced today the arrest of Jake Sauder, 19, for assault, resisting arrest, and disorderly conduct.

According to the report, officers responded to an October 25 call involving a male, later identified as Sauder, who was reportedly intoxicated and involved in a physical altercation at the 900 block of Barnswallow Lane in Huntingdon Valley. He was found in a hallway yelling profanities and displaying aggressive behavior.

Officers attempted to guide Sauder away from others in the hallway, but he resisted and was subsequently detained for his safety and the safety of others, police said.

Further investigation revealed that Sauder assaulted two victims. He will be summonsed for the charges below:

  • (1) COUNT OF 2709 A4 HARASSMENT COMM LEWD THREATENING ETC LANGUAGE
  • (1) COUNT OF 5503 A2 DISORDERLY CONDUCT UNREASONABLE NOISE
  • (1) COUNT OF 6308 A PURCH ETC ALCOH BEV BY A MINOR
