Jenkintown officials are mourning the loss of Francis “Corky” J. Ryan, who passed away on Monday, January 22, at his residence. He was 63 years old.

A Havertown native and graduate of Hatboro-Horsham Senior High School, Ryan went on to Montgomery County Community College, his obituary said.

He worked at Standard Pressed Steel Company in Jenkintown before becoming a police officer for Jenkintown Borough, a position he held for more than 30 years.
