JTL Engraving of Abington, an homage to longtime Glenside engraver Bill Hibberts, now accepting clients

JTL Engraving, a custom engraving business based in Abington, has announced its official launch.

The shop offers engraving services for individuals, businesses, schools, and organizations, and was founded by award-winning metalsmith and designer Joy Stember, owner of Joy Stember Metal Arts Studio in Abington.

Following the passing of longtime Glenside engraver Bill Hibberts in 2023, Stember said she saw an opportunity to both serve the community and preserve an important local resource. JTL Engraving has taken over many of Hibberts Engraving’s files and records, allowing past customers to easily reorder or replicate previous work.

“After Bill Hibberts’ passing, it became clear how much the community—and I—relied on his work,” said Stember. “He had been engraving my work for 16 years, and I understood firsthand how important that service was. Adding engraving felt like a meaningful and natural extension of what I already do, while also ensuring his customers would continue to be taken care of.”

JTL Engraving offers laser, rotary, and diamond engraving on a wide range of materials, including metal, wood, glass, acrylic, and stone. Services include trophies, plaques, corporate awards, donor recognition pieces, personalized gifts, and custom projects.

The shop is now accepting new clients and projects. The shop is open Monday through Friday, 10:00am – 3:30pm, with additional availability by request.
