Local student completes Keswick Village entrance upgrade for Eagle Scout service project

The Greater Glenside Civic Association (GGCA) announced that Cole Riehman-Murphy, a senior at Roman Catholic High School, has completed his Eagle Scout service project in Keswick Village.

Riehman-Murphy worked with a group of 20 scouts and neighbors to rebuild the welcome garden at Abington and Keswick avenues in Glenside. He also worked with Abington Township to remove outdated lighting.

In March, Riehman-Murphy launched a GoFundMe to help finance the project.

In related news, the next GGCA meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, June 12 at Glenside United Church of Christ. More details can be found here.
