Local entrepreneurs, business owners create the Glenside Business Alliance

A group of local entrepreneurs and business owners have created the Glenside Business Alliance (GBA), a formal organization that evolved from the Glenside Networking Group.

The Glenside Network Group was co-founded in February by Gina Knorr, a lifelong resident of Glenside, with the goal of elevating the profile of local businesses and enhancing positive impact in the community.

Membership is open to “professional, entrepreneurs and business owners with a proven commitment to networking and mutual support,” the GBA said. One member per profession/industry is permitted unless otherwise agreed upon within the group.

The GBA’s mission statement:

We unite local entrepreneurs to build meaningful business connections, exchange introductions, and celebrate each other’s successes. With a shared commitment to business development and economic prosperity, we advance our mission to enrich our neighborhoods and strengthen our community. Through collaboration and mutual support, we foster a thriving environment where members flourish and new businesses are welcomed into our growing network.

“The Glenside Business Alliance has been such a great way to build relationships with other local business owners. It’s all about supporting one another and keeping our local small business community strong,” GBA president Knorr said.

The GBA will be exhibiting at the rescheduled Keswick Village Fall Festival on Sunday, October 19.
