The Jenkintown School District announced that seniors Annie Wilson and Evan McCall won the Bicentennial Athletic League (BAL) Doubles Championship on Friday, October 11 at the Jenkintown High School tennis courts.

The win caps a second straight undefeated season in BAL doubles play for Wilson and McCall. Seniors Dawnmarie Kotasenski and Leila Chachkin were runners-up.

The team finished the season with a 13-2 record (8-0 in league play) and earned a second straight BAL title. Both doubles teams will play at the PIAA District 1 playoffs on Friday, the district said.

In 2023, the team won the BAL team title, the BAL singles title and the BAL doubles title.
