Jenkintown Farmers Market: Thursday’s vendor lineup

The Jenkintown Farmers Market (formerly the Jenkintown Night Market) will be at the Jenkintown Library parking lot from 3:00pm – 7:00pm on Thursday, June 4.

This week’s vendors:

  • Herrcastle Farm (Holtwood, PA) Herrcastle Farm, a family-owned fruit and vegetable farm in Holtwood, PA, is bringing a wide variety of fresh produce today. You’ll find Lettuce, Bok choy, Tomatoes, Cherry tomatoes, Strawberries, Cucumbers, Red beets, Gold beets, Onions, Potatoes, Shallots, Asparagus, Radishes, Garlic, Garlic scapes, Green zucchini, Sweet cherries, Broccoli, and Eggs – Butter – salted and unsalted. 
  • Mockingbird Bakery (Lansdale, PA) Local sourdough baker with specialty loaves and treats. 
  • Aunt Orphia’s Delicious Homemade Pound Cake (Philadelphia, PA) Individually wrapped pound cakes with naturally, delicious 100% butter rich flavor and light texture. 
  • Stone and Key Cellars (Ambler, PA) At Stone & Key we are fermenters, not farmers. We leave growing the grapes to the farmers, allowing us to select the best grapes for our wines. We then take the reigns in fermenting grapes to make Stone & Key wines.
  • Bacon on a Stick (Philadelphia, PA) 12 inches of thick cut smoked bacon with your choice of sauces.
  • Samsaric Brewery (Yardley, PA)  is a Philadelphia-born brewing company that was established in 2011 who believes in beer with a purpose. They will have N/A Seltzer. 
  • MR. Big Stuff Cookie Co(Philadelphia, PA) is a pop up small business that creates original-recipe, handmade stuffed cookies. Shoppers will love the aesthetic and decadence of these cookies, as well as a diverse menu of options for any sweet tooth.  
  • Mermead (Philadelphia, PA) Mermead is a light-bodied, naturally flavored 6% abv drink made from honey. It’s non carbonated and gluten free. Founded and fermented in Philly, Mermead’s mission is to bring mead, one of the most eco-friendly and sustainable alcoholic beverages on the planet, to a wider audience. 
  • Saint Rocco’s Treats (Pipersville, PA) Every Saint Rocco’s treat, sprinkle, & entree is handcrafted and baked fresh daily to ensure the ultimate freshness and quality for our furry friends! 
  • Pieri Farm (Coopersburg, PA) implements organic growing practices, although we are not certified organic. We do not use synthetic chemicals, pesticides, or herbicides of any kind to treat our vegetables. Instead, we utilize OMRI-approved materials and follow organic practices such as crop rotation, tilling, and hand weeding in order to combat pests and disease. They’re bringing  Lettuce, salad mix, kale, radish, scallion, peas, mint, dill, parsley, swiss chard, carrots, chef items, & garlic scapes.
