James Edward Rawlings of Elkins Park sentenced for fentanyl/firearm activity

James Edward Rawlings, 33, of the 2000 block of South John Russell Circle, Elkins Park, was recently charged with possession with intent to deliver fentanyl and the possession of illegal firearms in connection with incidents that occurred at his residence in May 2020.

A search of his residence uncovered fentanyl and drug paraphernalia, including digital scales and hundreds of small bags that are commonly used to package controlled substances, as well as illegally held firearms.

Rawlings was sentenced in Montgomery County Court to 4.5 to 9 years in a state correctional facility.
