Innovation & Exploration STEM Early Learning Center coming soon to Jenkintown

The Innovation & Exploration STEM Early Learning Center will open its doors this fall at 400 Old York Road in Jenkintown, the site of a former Wells Fargo bank.

Developers submitted an application to Jenkintown Borough in March.

The preschool is a “dedicated STEM-focused” institution that “ignites interest in STEM, employs diverse teaching methods, builds a solid academic foundation, nurtures curiosity, promotes play, and establishes a robust STEM education groundwork,” according to a statement.

The school says its curriculum aligns with PA Standards for Early Childhood Education and incorporates Scientific and Engineering Practices and serves students aged six weeks to six years, up to eight years for the STEM summer camp and STEM Saturday, and up to 10 years for an after-school STEM enrichment program.

Other locations exist in Elkins Park, Warrington, and Huntingdon Valley. The Huntingdon Valley school opened in September 2023

Administrators are now accepting applications for the 2024-2025 school year. For more information, you can visit their website or email info@innovationandexploration.com.
