Six Holocaust survivors were recognized at the Holocaust Awareness Museum and Education Center in Elkins Park on Wednesday, January 31 in honor of International Holocaust Remembrance Day.
The Center hosted a concert where boys’ and girls’ youth choirs performed songs about peace and justice, 6ABC reported.
The event’s organizers are hoping more people will visit and learn at the Center going forward.
“We need to remind people and especially young people, teach them not to hate,” said Chuck Feldman, president of the Center.
