Hiway Theater to host live Oscars broadcast for ‘Maestro’, Human Robot to serve drinks, hors d’oeuvres

The Hiway Theater in Jenkintown will host a live broadcast of the Oscars on Sunday, March 10 to cheer on Jenkintown / Abington native Bradley Cooper’s film “Maestro” and its seven nominations.

The film has been nominated for: Best Actor, Best Original Screenplay, Best Picture, Best Cinematography, Best Actress, and Best Makeup and Hairstyling, and Best Sound.

Human Robot Jenkintown will serve complimentary themed cocktails starting at 5:00pm. Hors d’oeuvres will be provided by Herman’s at the Haus in the Hiway lobby at 6:30pm.

The red carpet and the awards ceremony begins at 7:00pm.

Admission price includes free popcorn and fountain drinks. You can also fill out an Oscar Ballot for a chance to win prizes.

Cooper was nominated for four Golden Globe Awards in December. The film received a nomination for Best Motion Picture – Drama.
