The Hiway Theater in Jenkintown will host a series of special events in March.

A Sunday Screwballs screening of “Bringing Up Baby” will be held on Sunday, March 8, followed by a Horror at The Hiway screening of “Friday the 13th” on Friday, March 13.

The nonprofit theater’s 4th Annual Sci-Phi Film Festival will take place from March 27-29. From the festival’s description:

Attention citizens of Earth and the greater Philadelphia region! Join us as we embark on our 4th Annual Sci-Phi Film Festival taking place March 27th through March 29th.

From time traveling DeLorean’s to invaders from another planet, our mission is to showcase some of the most exceptional science fiction films of all time over the course of 3 days. The 2026 Sci-Phi Film Festival is possible because of a generous grant from the Vesta Fund.
