Hatboro police arrest man accused of firing a bullet through a residence

The Hatboro Police Department announced today that Colin Eckstrom, 34, was arrested for allegedly firing a bullet through a residence in the borough.

An arrest warrant was issued for Eckstrom on December 8. An investigation began on August 19 after a resident of the 200 Block of E Moreland Avenue found a bullet which had been reportedly fired through their residence.

The investigation included interviews with numerous individuals and the collection of physical evidence which was forensically examined, police said. As a result of the investigation, police issued an arrest warrant for Eckstrom for the charges below:

  • (1 COUNT) (18) 2707.1 (A) DISCHARGE OF A FIREARM INTO AN OCCUPIED DWELLING
  • (1 COUNT) (18) 6105 (A) (1) POSSESSION OF A FIREARM PROHIBITED
  • (1 COUNT) (18) 2705 RECKLESSLY ENDANGERING ANOTHER PERSON
