Next year’s nursery school class at Grace Presbyterian Church will be missing out. That’s because Suzie Killien has retired after almost 27 years of service. Just think: Kids from her first class are now in their 30s!

Suzie is a Jenkintown resident and a graduate of its high school. When she started at Grace Nursery, George H.W. Bush was battling for reelection and Melrose Place first appeared on the air.

Her last day was on May 29 at the close of Grace’s school year. She says she now plans to spend more time enjoying her wonderful kids and grandkids. Be sure to wish her well if you see her in the neighborhood.
