Hale’s Auto Repair, located at 239 S Easton Road in Glenside, is opening on Wednesday, April 1.

The shop is owned by Jared Hale, a graduate of Upper Moreland High School. From his post:

Since I was 16 years old, I’ve been turning wrenches, learning the trade, and chasing a passion that started in my grandfather’s shop. As a young boy, I fell in love with the automotive world — the smell of oil, the sound of tools, and the satisfaction of fixing something with your own hands. That’s where I learned hard work, honesty, and taking pride in every job, big or small.

Today, I’m excited to announce the next chapter of that journey:

I’m officially opening my own auto repair business.

This isn’t just a business — it’s a continuation of a family legacy and a chance to bring quality, trustworthy automotive service to our community. Whether it’s routine maintenance, diagnostics, or major repairs, my goal is simple: treat every vehicle like it’s my own and every customer like family.
