The All Hallows Episcopal Church at 262 Bent Road in Wyncote (Cheltenham Township) will host award-winning classical guitar soloist Dr. Ben Lougheed on Saturday, March 28 at 7:00pm.
Titled “Dancing on Six Strings“, the 75-minute concert will feature music from around the globe. Lougheed will perform selections ranging from Argentina’s Astor Piazzolla, the Baroque compositions of Jean-Philippe Rameau to American composer Michael Chapdelaine.
Dr. Lougheed has spent over a decade concertizing across the U.S. He holds a Doctor of Music from Florida State University and has performed for societies and series across the United States. He currently resides in the Glenside area and teaches at Temple Music Preparatory.
Following the performance, there will be a “Meet the Artist” session where Lougheed will sign CDs and chat more with audience members.
