Glenside man sentenced to 5-19 years in prison for causing fatal DUI crash

Brian C. McGoldrick, 42, of Glenside, will serve five to 19 years in state prison for driving intoxicated and killing an Allentown woman on September 2, 2022.

According to The Morning Call, McGoldrick pleaded guilty to charges of homicide by vehicle while DUI, a felony; and DUI with a blood alcohol content of 0.16% and greater, a misdemeanor.

Officials said he was driving the wrong way on Airport Road in Lehigh County when the incident occurred, and that his blood-alcohol content was more than three times the legal limit to drive.

The victim, Catherine Neelon, 55, died at the hospital. She worked in local cable TV production and was driving home after a high school football game.
