Friends of High School Park announces coming events, Eagle Scout garden project commendations

Cheltenham Township’s Friends of High School Park, recently shared coming events, including Volunteer Workday Weekends (July 1 and 2), Ghost Experts (July 16), and an Art Installation Walk and Talk (July 6).

The group also commended Eagle Scout candidate Izzy Mazzaccaro and her team for their design, construction, and preparation for a garden project.

From their announcement, “Come see the latest Eagle Scout Project!”

A bit of decoration for the stairs with a small garden at the base.  Designed and built by Eagle Scout Candidate Izzy Mazzaccaro along with her team.   Buckets of these Mercer tiles were donated to FHSP by the Reiner Family.  Izzy and her team painstakingly cleaned and restored the tiles, power washed and scrubbed the stairs, all in preparation for this project.
