TREXI Design Studio, located at 105a-b East Glenside Avenue, will host a grand opening on Saturday, May 3 from 11:00am – 6:00pm.

The new store will specialize in custom couture bridal design and the tailoring of formal gowns, according to their website:

Custom designers and makers are luxury service providers and Ashley has years of training and decades of expertise in her craft. Ashley is a master formal wear designer and tailor. She is skilled in pattern making, draping and practices couture techniques in the making and tailoring of her gowns of hand sewing, beading, lace application and custom design embellishments. Pricing will reflect this luxury service and should not be compared to fast fashion, or off the rack and overseas manufactured retail pricing.

Ownership said renovations of the former Dovetail space are nearing completion. The Dovetail and the CO Lab moved to a new location at 2256 Mount Carmel Avenue (Abington Township) earlier this month.
