Gather your family and friends and wobble over to this very popular 5K run and 2-mile walk in the center of Abington Township. Awards will go to winners in different age groups, and a few fun awards, like the most bundled-up and the best corny costume, will be given out as well. Proceeds benefit the Abington YMCA Financial Assistance Program, helping those in need. This race page is for our Willow Grove YMCA / Abington Early Learning Center in-person Gobble Wobble option. During the registration process, you will select if you want to participate in the 5k or walk using any of the sign-up options below. Please make sure to answer all questions in the registration process. Abington Early Learning Center: 1073 Old York Road Abington, PA 19001 Directions to the Starting Line: The race start line is located approximately 3 miles South of the Pennsylvania Turnpike, Willow Grove exit, near the intersection of Route 611 (Old York Road) and Susquehanna Road, past Abington Memorial Hospital. Course Info: Starting Line: Runners and walkers will begin from the starting line on Huntingdon and Susquehanna Roads. 5K Runners: The run will take you through a quiet, residential area of Abington Township with rolling hills and will finish Olympic style on the track at Memorial Field. 2 Mile Walkers: Walkers will walk through a predominantly flat course with the last mile being parallel to the runner's final mile. Families, strollers, and all ages of participants are encouraged to join. This course is not timed. Parking Info: Parking is available at the following locations: Wells Fargo Bank, Behind Vintage Restaurant, Abington Free Library, Abington Presbyterian Church, Abington Junior High (shuttle stop).
