Visit the Rockledge Model Railroad Museum to see HO scale trains run through realistic scenery. The museum has a 3,000+ square foot layout, modeled on the Pennsylvania and Reading railroads' lines to the Pennsylvania anthracite country in Shamokin, Pa. But visitors won't just see coal trains; all sorts of trains will be running--passenger and freight trains, express trains and locals. Even Thomas the Tank Engine might make a visit. Kids love model trains, making this is a great family activity. And, because parts of the display are unfinished, visitors get a peek "behind the curtain" to see how a layout is constructed. Admission is free; donations are accepted.
