Representative Napoleon Nelson, who serves Cheltenham, Jenkintown, and Springfield, announced that PennDOT will perform work in two parts of greater Glenside next week.
Crews will be repairing potholes on Washington Lane in Cheltenham Township and pipe is scheduled to be replaced along Stenton Avenue in Springfield Township (and Whitemarsh Township), on Wednesday, March 11 and Thursday, March 12 from 9:00am – 4:00pm.
Stenton Avenue is scheduled to be closed and detoured between Bethlehem Pike and Joshua Road.
During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Bethlehem Pike, Route 73 (Skippack Pike/Church Road), and Joshua Road.
