Horsham police help man reunite with his caretaker in Cheltenham Township

The Horsham Township Police Department announced that the unnamed individual pictured below has been reunited with his caretaker in Cheltenham Township.

According to the announcement, Horsham patrol officers encountered him walking in and out of traffic in Maple Glen on Friday, March 6.

“At this time, we believe the subject to be non-speaking and in need of assistance. We are very concerned for his well-being and are requesting assistance with identifying him and getting him home safely,” the announcement said. “Our officers are currently standing by with this subject, attempting to identify him.”

He was reportedly seen earlier in the day traveling along Welsh Road from Abington Township towards Horsham.

Hours later, Horsham police said they learned through “darn good investigative work” that he was missing from his caretaker’s residence, who subsequently picked him up from their police station.
