Elkins Park resident among 46 Black creatives receiving Black Music City grant

Elkins Park resident Jay Fluellen has received a $2,500 dollar grant from the Black Music City project as part of a total $90,000 dollars awarded to 46 Black creatives from the Philadelphia area.

Each recipient will receive between $1,000 and $3,500 dollars to produce new imaginative pieces inspired by the Black music history of Philadelphia. Then a Juneteenth event on June 19th will reveal the creations of the grant recipients.
