Chef Yehuda Sichel, an Elkins Park (Cheltenham Township) native, opened Huda Burger at 1603 Frankford Avenue in November, The Philadelphia Business Journal reported.
The new spot serves smash burgers, chicken sandwiches, curly fries and milkshakes. According to their coverage, Sichel opened a Rittenhouse Square sandwich shop called Huda in Philly in 2020 and has been planning Huda Burger for the past five years.
From the story:
Huda Burger serves a rotating lineup of five to six smash burgers served on house-made, Japanese-style seeded milk buns. Those include a classic cheeseburger, a vegetarian burger, a pastrami fried onion burger and a make-your-own option.
The eatery also offers chicken sandwiches, curly fries, house-made pickles, milkshakes and soft-serve ice cream. Its ice cream is being provided by the nearby 1-900-Ice-Cream shop.
