Dorsey pleaded guilty to charges of person not to possess a firearm and possession with intent to deliver controlled substances.

An investigation by state police began in January. On February 26, state police conducted a traffic stop of Dorsey’s vehicle in the area of Tookany Creek Parkway and Ashbourne Road in Cheltenham. A search revealed a plastic bag with about 3.5 grams of marijuana, multiple bags containing “THC gummies,” six vials containing crack cocaine, 63 multi-colored pills of suspected ecstasy and 30 oxycodone pills, according to the article.

A subsequent search of Dorsey’s residence revealed a Glock .45-caliber firearm loaded with 11 rounds in the magazine and one round in the chamber, a 12-gauge shotgun, numerous plastic bags containing suspected fentanyl, crack cocaine and ecstasy, drug packaging materials and $6,977 in cash.

According to police, Dorsey had a previous criminal conviction that prohibited him from possessing a firearm. Further investigation determined that the Glock had been reported stolen.
