Ditto Flower Boutique to host grand opening at former Dovetail Artisans space in Glenside on May 3

Michelle McGarry, a Glenside resident, will be opening Ditto Flower Boutique in the former Dovetail Artisans space for the first time on Saturday, May 3 from 11:00am to 6:00pm.

A project manager for a contracting company, McGarry says when the opportunity came along to open up her own shop with TREXI Design Studio, also opening at 105a-b East Glenside Avenue on Saturday, she took it.

“I worked at a flower shop in my twenties. It was one of my favorite jobs ever,” she said. “I’ve always done flowers for friends and parties, along with wedding photography. We’re looking to bring the community together.”

Going forward, McGarry expects to incorporate vintage dresses and similar items into her inventory, as well as host baby showers and fun little get-togethers inside the shared space.

“It’s going to grow as we figure out the space and the market. For starters, we’ll do prom, Mother’s Day bouquets, and creative workshops featuring artists and entrepreneurs,” she said. “We’re excited about it.”

Their hours:

  • Mon-Thurs: Appt only
  • Fri: 4pm – 8pm
