Construction on new homes on the grounds of the Philmont Country Club in Lower Moreland Township have begun.

The plan calls for an active adult housing community with 176 townhouse units. A copy of the plan can be found here:

Tomlinson Road will be closed to general traffic through at least December 22.

Access to the country club will be restricted, and individuals who need to go there for an event should contact the club directly to find out whether they should use Philmont Avenue or Buck Road to enter.
