Congregation Adath Jeshurun in Elkins Park hosting inaugural Shoah Seder in honor of Holocaust Remembrance Day on Sunday

Congregation Adath Jeshurun in Elkins Park is hosting its first Shoah Seder on Sunday, May 5, from 1:30pm to 3:30pm at 7763 Old York Road.

The program “utilizes the methods of the Pesach Seder and combines them with the history of the Shoah to create an unforgettably powerful experience,” the event’s description says.

The afternoon, held in honor of Yom HaShoah (Holocaust Remembrance Day), “seeks to provide some real feel experience with the events leading up to the Holocaust,” organizer Beth Shapiro said. “It will be intense, filled with activities and thoughtful questions.”
