Cheltenham Township Commissioner Dwight Pedro Lewis will take over responsibilities for the resigning Baron Holland’s Ward 2.

Lewis was appointed via special election of Ward 2 representatives last week and sworn in by Judge Steven Tolliver at a Township meeting on Wednesday, February 8. He will need to officially run for the position this year to fill the remainder of the term of commissioner Holland.

“I know Dwight to be a good and dedicated member of our community, and I look forward to working with him on behalf of Cheltenham’s residents,” commissioner Matt Areman said.
