Cheltenham Township announces Fall Photo Contest winners, free parking in Business Districts for the holidays

Cheltenham Township has announced the winners of 2023’s Fall Photo Contest.

“I loved seeing the beauty captured and was really impressed by the submissions we got from throughout the Township – showing brilliant colors and landscapes and the creative eyes of the residents behind the photos,” Lauren Walter, Public Information Officer, said.

This year’s first prize went to Emily Stine for her photograph of Rock Lane. The photo (shown above) will be featured in the Township’s next print calendar, Walter said.

Second and third prize went to John Stritzinger for his shots of Curtis Arboretum:

Stephanie Breslin’s photo of Wyncote Yard and Lisa Gratz’s picture of Curtis Pond tied for fourth place:

In related news, and in support of local businesses, parking fees will not be enforced in the Business Districts of Glenside and Elkins Park from Monday, November 20 through Saturday, January 6.
