Cheltenham resident currently in 10th place in nationwide Super Mom contest, winner gets $20K + free vacation, voting ends Thursday

Erica Owens, a resident of Cheltenham Township, is currently in 10th place in the Children’s Miracle Network’s Super Mom contest.

The winner receives $20,000, a weekend getaway in Palm Springs, California, and will be featured in Woman’s World magazine, according to TheSuperMom.org.

From Owens’ entry:

I am always doing my best to take care of my daughter and I. I work 2 jobs, part time student & working on a non profit.

What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The hugs, the kisses, the unconditional love I receive day in and out from my daughter. No matter what I am going through, she makes me feel honored to be her mother. What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

The day she was born. It was the most magical day of my life !!

What would you do with $20,000?

I would use some of the money to get us a newer vehicle. Our car now is on its last leg and I am spending a lot of money to keep it running. I am a single mama and I work so hard to keep our heads above water. I work 2 jobs and I am a student.

Voting for the Top 10 ends Thursday, May 9 at 7:00pm. To cast your vote for Owens, you can click here.
