Chris Bartlett, a 1984 Cheltenham High School graduate, will be recognized with the Legacy of Excellence Award at the first annual ceremony of the Philadelphia LGBTQ+ Hall of Fame Awards on Thursday, December 19 at the Museum of the American Revolution.
Bartlett is the executive director of the William Way Community Center. In March, he was named to the 2024 Philadelphia Power Players List during a ceremony on Tuesday, March 19 at the Brooklyn Bowl in the Fishtown section of Philadelphia.
The awards will be presented by Rue Landau, a 1987 Cheltenham High graduate and Philadelphia’s first openly LGBTQ+ councilmember. In 2023, Bartlett and Landau were each named to the Power List.
