Sweet Magnolia, an eclectic gift shop nestled in Glenside’s downtown district, was recently featured as part of Cheltenham Township Economic Task Force’s “Business Spotlight,” a series of Youtube videos which highlight local small businesses.

Maureen Haff, co-founder, is asked for the story behind opening a gift shop, and for an overview of the various treasures and displays inside.

The shop was founded by mother-daughter team Maureen and Emily Haff in 2003.

The collaboration of artists have everything from fabulous gifts and home accessories to the must-haves in costume jewelry and other personal decor. All of the merchandise is displayed on vintage furniture, which is also for sale.

Sweet Magnolia carries an extensive collection of baby and bridal gifts, and also specializes in event styling and flowers—everything from small parties to large weddings. The shop welcomes private parties, wine and cheese provided.
