Carminati Creamery of Glenside is opening a second location in Jenkintown in April.

According to co-owner Darin Carminati, a grand opening has been set for Thursday, April 4 from 4:00pm to 9:00pm at 740 Yorkway Place.

“We’re so excited to finally be opening our Jenkintown location. We’ve put a lot of work into the space and menu,” Carminati said. “One of our biggest challenges will be the addition of milkshakes, floats and sundaes at the Jenkintown location.”

Carminati said the Jenkintown location’s hours will start off Thursday – Saturday from 4:00 – 9:00pm, with expanded hours coming soon.

“We hope our loyal customers continue to support us and enjoy the extras they can order at the new shop, and we look forward to the many new customers we will serve,” he said.

The creamery announced plans for a second location in June 2023, which coincided with the five-year anniversary of the Glenside space.
