The Philadelphia Inquirer recently highlighted the recently opened Cafe Carmela in Huntingdon Valley and Manny’s Deli Shop in Willow Grove in an article titled “Bistros, delis, and even a Jawn: New restaurants that marked the summer of 2023”.

The article chronicles the debuts of 33 restaurants, delis, bars, and/or brunch spots that opened their doors this summer. Cafe Carmela opened on June 20, and Manny’s opened on June 30.

Manny’s Deli Shop (4003 Welsh Rd., Willow Grove): Rob Woloshin and brothers Jeremy and Chase Thomas have opened a counter-service offshoot of their Southampton deli-restaurant.
