Update: Jenkintown Borough also declared a snow emergency this evening, effective 12:00pm Tuesday until 6:00pm Wednesday.

Chief Patrick Molloy of the Abington Township Police Department has declared a Snow Emergency for the township beginning at 12:00pm on Tuesday, February 11 and ending at 6:00pm on Wednesday, February 12. The National Weather Service’s latest briefing can be found here.
Officials said no parking is allowed on the Snow Emergency Routes listed below.
“Vehicles left on Snow Emergency Routes may be towed and impounded at the owner’s expense,” the township said in a statement.
