Abington Senior High School students donate handmade blankets for patients at Jefferson Abington Hospital’s Asplundh Cancer Pavilion

Members of the Abington Senior High School Quilting Club donated handmade blankets to patients at Jefferson Abington Hospital’s Asplundh Cancer Pavilion.

“I want to send a big thank you to the very talented students for sharing their time, creativity and compassion with our patients and care teams,” said Steven Cohen, MD, chief, division of hematology/oncology, Jefferson Abington Hospital. “The blankets go a long way in letting our patients know that the community cares for them during a challenging time in their lives.”
